Jody Giachello is an experienced Drummer and producer in the L.A. music scene.

Jody Giachello, known as Fourth Dimension (4D), is an innovative multidimensional drummer and producer based out of Long Beach, CA. Playing the drums has always been a huge part of his life. Giachello’s father began teaching him how to play the drums at two years old and his involvement in jazz bands from middle school to college helped drive his lifelong passion for music.

After attending Berklee College of Music, where he studied privately with Afro-Cuban and Brazilian jazz drummer Francisco Mela and was involved with legendary jazz trombonist Hal Crook’s ensemble for several semesters. He had the privilege of performing at The Rose Bowl, touring with Concord Records jazz prodigy Taylor Eigsti, and playing with the house band for late-night NBC program Last Call with Carson Daly.

Giachello then auditioned for and got the gig with gold record selling artist VV Brown, and did a short U.S. tour with her in 2012. Then went on to touring internationally and performing twice on Broadway with the world’s largest touring magic show, The Illusionists for a span of 3 years. All while playing drums for the Los Angeles-based punk/hardcore band Chotto Ghetto for the past 11 years, and also producing under his Fourth Dimension alias.

Early 2017 Giachello released the first installment of his 2 part series: Fourth Dimension (4D) - Millennial Kingdom Vol. 1 on 3.31.17 through Long Beach based label Dankradio. Just prior to that he auditioned for and landed the drumming position for the band HAIM, and coincidently started rehearsing with them the day he released MKV1. He has been touring extensively nationally and internationally with them, playing huge Festivals like Glastonbury and a Headlining a sold out show at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. Also a handful of tv performences on SNL, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Graham Norton, Jools Holland, Ellen, and BBC Radio 1. Giachello then went on to release Millennial Kingdom Vol. 2 on 12.1.17 which he guarantees will take listeners on a journey through time and space.

In the Spring of 2018 he then went on to do a 3 month tour with HAIM called Sister Sister Sister. They kicked off the tour by warming up the main stage for Beyonce at Coachella. Then a month and a half in the U.S., including 2 sold out nights at Radio City Music Hall. They continued on to do another month and half in Europe and the UK. Starting out on the main stage at Prima Vera Sound in Barcelona, Spain. They also played 2 sold out nights at Alexandra Palace in the UK and ended the tour at Rock in Rio Lisboa, Portugal.
